floral afternoons

Hi, hi. I wanted to get a quick post in before I go to work, chilling in a research laboratory being nerd chic, of course. I'm still going a bit crazy over my love of California spring time and am wearing a floral romper that I snagged for exactly one quarter. Hooray for intrepid vintage hunting and happiness-inducing finds after scrounging all day through dust bunnies, and granny knits. Still prancing.

I saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt (cue sighs and fainting) speak at Stanford a few weeks ago, and even though I initially attended the lecture because I was convinced that he is the future father of my unborn children, I came out incredibly psyched about the collaboration website that he was promoting. It's an open collaboration website where users can post their own multimedia works and/or add to the uploaded works of others. It's pretty sick, and in our open-source information world these days, perhaps the next frontier of art.
